Have you heard?

Paws For Change has opened the first specialty safe house for senior dogs and other animals in Bali...!

The very first resident at this retirement home with a difference, was 'Madam Indah' who is approximately 10-12 years old and worn down by her years of neglect. She's had several litters, lived life tough on the streets and never known a warm bed or a kind hand. Now, with your sup-pawt, she'll know both in her final years!

She will be joined by other incoming residents in the coming weeks and, whilst there is still work to be done on the safe house, we are so happy there is a safe and comfortable shelter for these beautiful souls to receive treatment and rehabilitation in their twilight years.

Senior dogs can come with their own set of issues. Many have health conditions that require a special diet and many show physical and mental scarring from hard lives on the street. Paws For Change have ensured the safe house not only comes with special dietary food and medical care, but also behavioural assessment and training to aid in the rehabilitation of these animals so they can be adopted out to local homes. Due to their age, overseas travel would present too much strain so we are focusing on local adoptions only.

We're so proud to have been able to open a senior shelter and we thank YOU for supporting us every step of the way to this achievement. We do need ongoing help though from our valued sup-pawters to continue the work we do for senior animals and for this shelter so, please, if you can.. dig deep and donate to the senior's safe house. Please visit our DONATE PAGE HERE.

Just $10 will feed a shelter dog for a week, so every little bit helps!

If you can't help financially, please help by spreading the word and getting our mission out there far and wide.
