The Canine Cup is Back for 2026
Adelaide’s favourite dog-loving charity event is back on May 17!
The Pet Butcher & Dogcity Daycare Canine Cup is a playful, animal-friendly spin on traditional racing — replacing it with fun, short doggy runs designed purely for laughs, wagging tails and community spirit.
No pressure. No competition. Just dogs doing what they love.
All funds raised help support the work of Paws For Change, including our partnership project with Safe Pets Safe Families - SafePaws Haven - South Australia’s first 24-hour emergency pet boarding facility for people escaping domestic and family violence.
Because no one should ever have to choose between their safety and their pet.

We partner with grass root rescue groups within Australia and Bali to help dogs in need.
We have helped establish rescue sanctuaries in Bali to assist with the care for the many vulnerable dogs there.
But we can only do it with your support. Without help from our dog loving community, these dogs are left to suffer from injury, abuse and neglect.
Hi, I'm Annie
I founded Paws For Change in 2018, to make a real difference to the lives of dogs in need.
We collaborate with small, no kill rescue groups on various animal welfare projects and we champion disability employment by using disability employment initiatives for the manufacture and packaging of many of our products here in Australia.
We have worked on various projects including championing for better greyhound welfare initiatives; senior dogs; foster care and providing food, toys and bedding for shelter dogs.
Our most recent project has been to establish a Puppy Safehouse in Bali to help the most vulnerable, defenceless puppies who have been dumped from unwanted litters and left to fend for themselves amongst the harshest conditions.
We continue to work with local organisations in Bali, advocating community education, better pet management, sterilisation and vaccination initiatives.
