Button's Story
Little Buttons is yet another young victim of a hit/run on the Bali streets. He was originally rescued and had spinal surgery after his accident BUT his rescuer knew he didn’t have what it takes to look after Buttons long term. Buttons will need ongoing rehab, a wheelchair and acupuncture to give him every chance at a semi-normal life.
From here, he’s now under Alison’s direct care with Bali Rescue Dog Squad and he’s been treated for ear mites and infections and he’s been neutered. Unfortunately his spine injury has calcified and there’s nothing further that can be done to correct this but he is gaining strength and healing well from surgery. It will now be a case of ongoing holistic care to help him reach his full potential - whatever stage that may be.
He’s such a sweet boy and deserves every chance to live a full, happy life.
