Chopper’s Story
Abandoned as a puppy, Chopper endured painful injuries to his spine, hips and hind legs that were never treated and, as a result, his hind legs were twisted and dragging behind him.
Locals feared him and either ignored him or threw stones at him and it wasn’t until he came into care that his life truly had a chance to turn around.
Funds were secured to perform surgery on his legs and he now has more mobility and a place at our Wenaven Special Needs Safe House where he has learned love and comfort but he still likes to create the odd bit of chaos with the other dogs from time to time - just to show them who’s boss!
