Dahlia's Story
Dahlia was found dumped near our Paws For Change Senior Safe House and tests confirmed she had blood parasites, anaemia, an eye infection and skin conditions including Scabies.
She was treated with both traditional medical treatments and natural treatments such as coconut oil for her dry, cracked skin and infections.
Once stable, she was also vaccinated and de-sexed which is when it was discovered she had TVT (transmissible venereal disease). Luckily it was caught early enough for successful chemo treatments.
