Jasper's Story
Jasper, our little fox lookalike, once had an owner who cared enough to have him neutered but somewhere along the line they stopped caring and he was dumped on a busy Bali road. Terrible for any dog but especially so when Jasper is blind. It could have resulted in terrible tragedy but by some miracle he was picked up by a passerby and taken to a nearby clinic - who then reached out to our rescuer - Bali Rescue Dog Squad - to take him in.
Jasper's diagnosis was blindness, hypothyroidism, Cushing's Disease, 2 x blood parasites, low blood platelet, wasted belly muscles and evidence of old, untreated wounds which had managed to heal by themselves.
He transitioned into our Paws For Change Senior Safe House where he’s learned what toys are about for the first time in his life!
Jasper will continue to reside at our Senior Safe House and will require ongoing treatment and medication for the rest of his life. If you would like to virtually adopt a tiny fox lookalike in desperate need of love and care, please consider becoming Jasper's Furry Godparent.
