Mila's Story

Poor little Mila was found in distress on the side of a busy Bali street, with a suspected broken jaw.

She was immediately taken to the vet and stabilised because she'd lost a lot of blood and was having trouble breathing. It was most certainly touch and go when she first came in.

Within days though, this tough young pup (estimated to be only about 4 months old at the time) was stabilised and it became clear her jaw thankfully wasn't broken. She had been through some sort of trauma, but she was bouncing back quicker than anyone could have hoped.

She did have scabies and battled through a slight flu but the universe was shining on her again when she tested negative for Distemper.

Little Mila is looking for her fur-ever home, but whilst she's still in the care of our Bali Safehouse, we need help to cover the cost of keeping her safely off the Bali streets.
