Pippa’s Story
Pippa’s story is a complicated and sad one.
Originally she came into care a few years ago as a young Beagle with TVT, maggot infested bite wounds, ticks and anemia. She was in a bad way - but she was cared for through our rescue partner, Bali Rescue Dog Squad, who then also secured an adopter for her.
Sadly, in recent weeks, Pippa had several tumours start showing all over her body. She came back into BRDS care and has spent time at the clinic having tests and tumours removed.
The most recent diagnosis is that she has an aggressive, malignant form of cancer and we could continue with surgeries - or, we could bring her the Wenaven Special Needs Safe House and allow her to enjoy the rest of her time being with her dog pals and being free in the gardens rather than cooped up in a cage at the clinic.
