Yurt’s Story
One of our newest rescues, Yurt was found discarded on a pile of garbage bags in front of a busy mini mart. A senior with all kinds of health issues (decaying teeth, lice, ulcerated eyes, blood parasites, heart murmur and suspected jaw fracture).
This small mixed breed has led a life of neglect and then to be literally tossed out as trash is heartbreaking.
Thankfully he’s now in the right hands, receiving treatment and lots of love. Hopefully he’ll transition to our Paws For Change Senior Safehouse and have a second chance at life soon.
